Appointment prep

24 hours before your appointment, use an exfoliation glove or dry brush to exfoliate the area. This is important so that you are getting rid of dead skin buildup. Lightly scrub 2 to 3 minutes and make sure you moisturize after.

Make sure you drink plenty of water the day before and day of your appointment. Drinking water before your appointment softens your skin and keeps it plump, which aids in a better waxing experience. Try to stay away from any caffeine the day of your appointment.

If you use any AHAs or BHAs, including retinol, Retin-A, tretinoin, glycolic or salicylic acids, please stop use a week prior to your appointment. These products thin your skin and may cause tearing or bruising while waxing. If you are a current user of Accutane you will not be able to wax.

Yes. Pink Crab Wax Bar is by appointment only and we do not accept walk-ins. If you need something same day, contact us and we will do our best to fit you in.
